i lost my cell phone today ... i have looked high and low, re-visited all the places i saw today, re-traced all my steps ... nothing ... the phone had powered down as the battery needed recharging so there was no calling it to find it ... not a great loss, you might think ... however, my calendar contains the dates of everyone's birthday and year, anniversaries, appointments ... when Megan felt Nash move for the first time, the date that Mindy found out she was having a girl, the day and year (March 1958?) my grandfather died, the inbox has Adam's text the night before he passed the bar and a few hours after finding out he passed that he was "wasted" ... Jason texting "i'll love you for always" and Than's text about the "little so cal roller coaster" from a couple years ago ... voice messages from Annika and Nash ... and phone numbers for everyone ...
oh, where, oh, where has my little phone gone?
